Chinese New Year is almost here
The Chinese New Year is almost here, according to the lunar calendar. If you're in the HeZhouWang area in Guangxi, expect to see a lot of customs and traditions.
Families will be returning home from all over China and a huge feast, lasting days and days, will be created and enjoyed by locals and their guests. This is the tradition of showing the generosity of the hosting family and increasing their reputation in the village.
Chinese New Year is also the only time of the year that kids get to see their parents. Usually, children will be raised by their grandparents while their parents work far away from the village. They're called the "leftover children".
